Joe Hutchings

Senior Electrical Designer

Joe Hutchings worked with the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers from 1984-1988 for his apprenticeship and finished his A.A.S. at Salt Lake Community College in 1988. Joe has 38 years of experience in design engineering and installation of electrical systems for a wide variety of projects from residential, multi-family, small and large commercial to industrial. He is a state-licensed journeyman wireman with licensure in several western states. He has both designed and installed high voltage systems and low voltage controls for HVAC, fire alarm, surveillance and intrusion detection in over 80 different countries and states. Some of his favorite projects were Primary Children’s Hospital and The Delta Center. He most enjoyed those projects that took him to the South Pacific where he would enjoy scuba diving in Tonga, Samoa, Tahiti, Fiji and New Zealand.
