Matt Makin

Mechanical Designer

Matt Makin is currently enrolled at Utah Valley University and working towards his Mechanical Engineering degree. He started working for Royal Engineering in the summer of 2014 as tech support but quickly moved into mechanical drafting. After a two-year leave from Royal Engineering, he returned in 2019 to continue his work and education. Contributing his knowledge and drafting skills, he has worked on top projects such as The Hyatt Place in Moab, UT and others. His personal interests include taking any moment he has to work on cars with his father, playing and competing in various sports, mountain biking, skeet shooting and fishing.
